Turkiye is in the process of establishing two field hospitals in Egypt to treat the wounded coming from the Gaza Strip, Selami Kilic, the Turkish Ministry of Health’s Director-General for EU and Foreign Affairs said on Monday. Eight Indian former naval officers who were handed the death penalty by a court in Qatar were charged with spying for Israel, a source in India and another in Qatar said, Reuters reports. According to the report, neither New Delhi nor Doha has officially stated the charges against the eight, who were arrested in August 2022. Turkiye’s Communications Director, Fahrettin Altun, has sent a letter to the information ministers of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), calling for solidarity with Palestine, the Communications Directorate said on Tuesday, Anadolu Agency reports.
