A new wireless battery-free antenna will allow farmers to monitor animals’ vital data remotely. Scientists at the Tyndall National Institute, one of the hosts of the VistaMilk SFI Research Centre, developed the electronics-free device that can monitor a cow’s stress, hydration and general well-being levels. Leading Kuwaiti developer Mabanee said one of its key subsidiaries in Bahrain has reached a deal to purchase a 9,554 sq m vacant plot of land in the Bahrain Bay for KD5 million ($16.1 million). The “Mustafa Kemal Atatürk 2023” military exercise, named after the founder of the Republic of Türkiye, is scheduled to be held between Oct. 23 and Oct. 25, Azerbaijan’s Defense Ministry announced on Tuesday. The Iraqi President, Abdul Latif Rashid, arrived on Sunday in the Italian capital, Rome, to participate in the World Food Forum (WFF). Israel has attacked Syria 25 times since the beginning of the year, Israeli newspaper Haaretz reported yesterday. Eighteen of the attacks were aerial and seven were ground-to-ground, with 60 targets hit throughout Syria and 61 people killed, the report said. Damascus was bombed 12 times, Quneitra six times, Homs three times, Aleppo three times, and Tartous twice. Israel has intensified its air strikes on Syria this year, according to the state-run Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA). The Israeli occupation government does not comment officially on such reports.
